Power Rangers on TV

Power Rangers has been on TV non-stopped for 17 years. From August 28th 1993-August 28th 2010 (I know that's odd). Here's a list of the different TV stations that have carried Power Rangers for quite some time. Pics come from Wikipedia.

August 23rd 1993-September 6th 2002

Ah yes, the place where Power Rangers was a hit. They aired Power Rangers like crazy back in my day. They started with the MMPR episode "Day Of The Dumpster" and aired the show for years. In November 2001, Disney bought the rights to Saban Entertainment and Fox Kids Worldwide. They aired the first 26 PRWF episodes. Their last PR episode aired was a rerun of "Ancient Awakening".

March 3rd 2002-August 31st 2006

ABC Family, the new channel following the buy out of Fox Family by Disney. They started PR out with airing classic Power Rangers episodes with the name "Best Of Power Rangers" (Later named "Power Rangers Generations") and aired WF as part of their kids block. They also aired each new season up till mid-way through Mystic Force. For some unexplained reason, they decided to take off the kids block. Their last PR episode was a rerun of the Turbo episode "Chase Into Space Part 2".

September 14th 2002-August 28th 2010

The new(and last) home of PR on local TV. They aired the final 14 episode of WF and moved on to Ninja Storm to Dino Thunder, etc. Soon, they were the ONLY place for PR. Their final episode was the MMPRv2 episode "A Star Is Born" following Saban's regain of PR.

February 14th 2004-February 12th 2009

Apparently, Disney decided to put PR and the other shows at night. Not much to say here. This was also the last place to catch Saban era episodes. Disney decided to scrape them due to royalty issues. PR went away from cable all together due to Toon Disney becoming Disney XD.

February 5th 2011-present
February 7th 2011-present (my guess)

Now PR has a new home. PRSamurai will debut on Saturdays and Sundays and the reruns of the previous 700 episodes will debut shortly afterwords.

It looks like PR will never die.
